Having a safer road trip all comes down to preparation. Our service center has developed this top 10 checklist for ensuring the safest possible road trip.
 
1. Change wiper blades before trip.
2. Bring a gallon of engine coolant in case vehicle overheats.
3. Bring tire gauge and check tires at each refueling stop.
4. Bring a roll of duct tape for minor repairs.
5. Fill washer fluid to the top.
6. Bring box of tools, flares, and flashlight.
7. Carry along an empty gas can.
8. Check the spare tire to see if it is fully inflated.
9. Bring along a tire repair kit and can of inflater.
10. Keep some bottles of water in the trunk in case vehicle is stranded miles from help.
