What's New for 2023?

This year, there are no big changes made to the Ford F-150 Lightning. The only thing that's changed this year is its price. With a $12,000 increase to the entry-level Pro model and price hikes on other trims, this EV is now a more expensive model.

Performance

All Ford F-150 Lightning Trucks come in a crew-cab body style with a 5.5-foot bed, and each is powered by one of two powertrains. Beaver Falls and Pittsburgh residents will find the standard powertrain uses two electric motors and all-wheel drive to produce 452 horsepower and gets 230 miles of range. While the other powertrain uses the same setup to output 580 horsepower and gets 320 miles of range.

As for its towing and hauling capabilities, this model can tow upwards of 10,000 pounds and carry up to 2,00 pounds.

A Multitude of High-Tech Features

Technology

A 12.0- inch touchscreen infotainment system with Ford's latest Sync 4 software is standard in most models except the Lariat and Platinum, where an even larger 15.0-inch display is standard. Other standard features for this model include in-dash navigation, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and eight 120-volt household-style electrical power outlets.

Safety

Safety is a top priority for vehicles, and the F-150 Lightning is no exception. Coming standard in all models is advanced driver-aids such as automated emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, and adaptive cruise control. In higher trims, a 360-degree camera system is available, as is an evasive steering assist.
