Go Electric with the New Ford F-150 Lightning Available at Baierl Ford
Electricvehicles are the models you drive when you want to save on gas and reduce your carbon footprint. But Ford takes this concept even further and asks, "what if you want power as well?" The answer to that question is the Ford F-150 Lightning. As an electric pickup truck, the Lightning uses a traditional F-150 styling and adds some impressive hardware in the cabin and under the hood to make for one enjoyable ride.
What's New for 2023?
This year, there are no big changes made to the Ford F-150 Lightning. The only thing that's changed this year is its price. With a $12,000 increase to the entry-level Pro model and price hikes on other trims, this EV is now a more expensive model.
Performance
All Ford F-150 Lightning Trucks come in a crew-cab body style with a 5.5-foot bed, and each is powered by one of two powertrains. Beaver Falls and Pittsburgh residents will find the standard powertrain uses two electric motors and all-wheel drive to produce 452 horsepower and gets 230 miles of range. While the other powertrain uses the same setup to output 580 horsepower and gets 320 miles of range.
As for its towing and hauling capabilities, this model can tow upwards of 10,000 pounds and carry up to 2,00 pounds.
