Performance

The base model uses a turbocharged 2.3-liter four-cylinder EcoBoost engine with a 10-speed automatic transmission to output 315 hp and 350 pound-feet of torque. There's the Mustang GT that has a power-boosted 5.0-liter 480 hp V-8. And the new Dark Horse will use a Coyote V-8 to produce 480 horsepower and 415 pound-feet of torque.

Technology

As Cranberry Township and New Castle customers step into the Mustang's cabin, they'll discover a touchscreen using Ford's Sync 4 software that offers Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. A 13.2-inch model is optional, and each display has Ford Power-Up software capability, which allows for over-the-air updates. Additionally, Amazon Alexa and Ford Streaming also come as basic features.

Safety
